I.   About the gardener

A practice with four sides.

Diomarys is a professional with seven years of experience spanning non-profit, global advertising, and fitness & wellness. She currently works as a financial analyst at a major hospitality group. Writer. Actor. Activist. She came up through opera, dance, and acting. Which is to say: the body was her first instrument, and tending was her first form of love.

A first-generation, bilingual (Spanish / English) creative with a business background, she is located in the New York Metro area. She manages and automates processes for independent artists, handling the minutiae so they can create, and builds with emerging tools when the work calls for it.

She is working towards her Pilates certification, and hopes to open her own studio in the coming years. She is also opening a Patreon as a public home for her bilingual writing and voice notes, where readers can support the practice directly.

II.   What she believes

Five beliefs the garden runs on.

01

Embodied tenderness.

The body is the first instrument. Devotion starts there, not in a spreadsheet, not in a brand deck.

02

Seasonal thinking.

Not every quarter is a sprint. She plans by season: what is ripening, what is resting. The work gets better for it.

03

Cyclical time.

Return, not ascent. Practices compound when you let yourself come back to them without shame.

04

Bilingual fluency.

English and Spanish, but also finance and feeling, strategy and softness. Holding both keeps the work honest.

05

Finance as care.

Numbers are a love language when you use them to protect someone’s practice. She treats a P&L like a self-portrait.

III.   Chapters

The long way around.

Not a résumé. A list of rooms she has lived in.

Early

Opera

Classical vocal training. The first time devotion felt like discipline.

·

Dance

Years in the studio. Where she learned that the body keeps score honestly.

·

Acting

Training that taught her language is a body, too.

·

Music

Producing beats and scoring work. Sound as the undercurrent of everything she makes.

·

Creative direction

Brand and editorial work for people and projects she believed in.

·

TED / TEDx

Reviewed and published 3,000+ TEDx talks in English and Spanish. Co-produced TED en Español. The first time scale and bilingualism met on the same project.

Now

Finance

Analyst at a major hospitality group. Where the numbers finally met the narrative.

Next

Wellness

Pilates teacher certification in progress. Discovery conversations open.
